How does Artificial Intelligence change the development and optimization of production processes? In our presentation, we will demonstrate how manufacturing processes can be systematically structured with AI as an intelligent assistant that supports engineers rather than replacing them.
How AI Improves the Development Process?
Brainstorming & Knowledge Management – AI analyzes best practices, research findings, and past projects to provide targeted innovation impulses.
Experiment Planning & Simulation – Using intelligent DOE (Design of Experiments) approaches, AI helps identify optimal process parameters more quickly.
Data Analysis & Pattern Recognition – AI processes large datasets and detects trends that are often overlooked by traditional methods.
Optimization & Risk Minimization – Simulation-based optimization helps identify and eliminate critical influencing factors early on.
High quality is essential, especially in electronics manufacturing. We will showcase how AI contributes to making these processes more efficient, robust, and sustainable.
As part of the European Six Sigma Club, we will give a presentation on this topic on March 19, 2025, at 1:30 PM. Join us and learn how engineers can work faster, more precisely, and more innovatively with AI!

Betteryields will be part of Deep Tech Momentum 2025, Europe's leading deal engine for Deep Tech! We will showcase how our company transforms electronics manufacturing from May 13-15 at Napoleon Komplex, Berlin.
Deep Tech Momentum is where cutting-edge startups, top-tier investors, and corporate leaders meet to accelerate funding and partnerships. Out of 5,000+ applicants, only 6% make the cut—so we are honored to be part of this exclusive gathering that has already facilitated over €150M in funding for Deep Tech startups.
At Betteryields, we help manufacturers leverage AI-driven analytics to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and optimize decision-making in SMT production. We combine structured and unstructured production data—from visual inspections to process parameters—to deliver actionable insights that drive real-world improvements.
How can AI unlock new levels of efficiency in electronics production? Let's discuss it at Deep Tech Momentum!
We are excited to connect with investors, industry leaders, and fellow innovators—see you in Berlin!

Electronics manufacturing faces constant pressure to improve quality and efficiency while minimizing downtime. Our presentation will showcase a holistic AI-driven approach that integrates data from multiple sources - visual inspections, placement force curves, and temperature profiles - to pinpoint and address defects like voiding. How can a central AI system act as a supervisory controller, adapting optimization strategies in real time and resolving conflicts between process-specific AI models?
The presented approaches for AI-human collaboration are not replace engineers but enhances their decision-making, streamlining root cause analysis and improving overall productivity. We will also discuss real-world case studies demonstrating the impact of AI in reducing defects and optimizing production.
We look forward to engaging discussions and knowledge exchange at WiKKI25!
Our topic: Leveraging Production Data to Enhance Electronics Manufacturing with AI

We are exited to be present at the next meeting of the FED regional group Hamburg in Lübeck on February 27!
Our topic: Practical use of data with measurable success in the day-to-day business of SMT production: case studies from medium-sized companies to large corporations
The digitalization of production processes offers enormous potential for avoiding or quickly eliminating errors in production. In practice, however, there is often a lack of capacity and budget for implementation. Our presentation by Dr. Aaron Hutzler and Jonas Noll shows how companies - regardless of their size - can successfully introduce data-driven processes. A particular focus will be on the role of artificial intelligence in knowledge transfer and as an assistant for engineers. We use specific case studies to shed light on the opportunities and challenges of automated data analysis.
We are looking forward to the exchange with experts and exciting discussions in Lübeck!
